I thought the folks on this list might want to know that there's a 
company in California offering the workstation version of Applix 4.3
as a bundle for $695.  It's more complete than the Linux version since
it includes the entire filter pack.  If you buy all this stuff seperately
from Applix it would run around $2000 list price.  If anyone is 
interested, you can call Melissa Calland at 800-8APPLIX ext. 435.
I've been using the Linux version 4.3 for a while now and the only 
complaint I have is that it didn't come with import/export filters for
Power Point.  I actually like the Word application better than MSWord.
I'm grateful for the SGI demo disk they sent me but, truth be told,
I'll probably spend the $695 on upgrading my Linux machine so it runs
my $120 Linux version of Applix as fast as the workstation would...

For the record, I don't have any affiliation with Applix or the 
company that has the bundle deal.
