It is +s.  I also just went through and everything looks right as per
what's
compiled in.  I also re-made the modutils and the ppp-2.2.0F I believe.

Are you dialing out or recieving calls?

Are you trying to do an Auto-PPP connect? If so, that has to be turned on in
pppd. How about Chap and/or Pap authentication? If your Secrets files are wrong
you won't be able to connect.
