NFS problem

I'm having a strange NFS problem.   Here is a copy of my exports file

# See exports(5) for a description.
# This file contains a list of all directories exported to other computers.
# It is used by rpc.nfsd and rpc.mountd.
/	ntb2(ro)
/home/ftp/pub	158.111.124.129(ro)
/	list(ro)

I am running mountd and rpc.portmap

When list or ntb try an nfs mount they get the following message.

mount: ntb10.cdc.gov:/ failed, reason give by server: Permission denied.

I'm running slackware 3.0 with kernel 1.2.13
